Conversations on Youth
Conversations On Youth (COY) is a biennial symposium that brings together school leaders, teachers in charge of student discipline, social and youth workers, law enforcement officers and participants
from the organising ministries for a dialogue on supporting youth-at-risk and youth offenders. COY is organised under the auspices of the NCPR.
COY 2023
Held on 27 Sep 2023, with the theme “YOUths Matter Amidst Change”, the symposium explores the dynamic and complex world our youths are growing up in, and the multi-faceted influences on their individual, family and social environment. The NCPR shared on the key recommendations to address three focus areas - (i) breaking the cycle of intergenerational offending, (ii) preventing substance abuse among youths and (iii) preventing youth sexual offending.
