About The Fostering Scheme

Why Do Children Need Fostering?

Children may have been removed from their birth families due to safety concerns and be in need of care and protection that fostering can provide.

Why is Fostering Important?

Fostering provides children in need with a safe and stable family environment. Besides necessities like food, clothing and shelter, foster families also provide love, care and nurturance and a positive experience on how family members show care and concern for one another.

Our hope is for the children to grow healthily and to fulfil their potential.

What is the Goal of Fostering?

Fostering is a temporary care arrangement, and we aim to reunite foster children with their birth families once the families are assessed to be able to resume care for them.
