Marriage Support
A strong and lasting marriage needs a good foundation and requires commitment, effort and good communications. FAM@FSC provides marriage preparation and support programmes for couples who may face challenges in their marriage when they marry early, or due to language or cultural differences.
Currently, two FAM@FSCs offer marriage programmes for the following groups of couples:
- Minor couples, where at least one party is aged 18 years to below 21 years at the point of marriage registered with the Registry of Marriages: Click here for details on programmes for minor couples
- Young couples, where the groom is aged 21 years to below 25 years, and the bride is aged 21 years and above at the point of marriage registered with the Registry of Marriages: Click here for details on programmes for young couples (PDF)
- Transnational couples, i.e. a Singaporean marrying a non-PR foreigner: Click here to view programme details for transnational couples
Other couples are also encouraged to attend marriage preparation programmes. Find a suitable marriage preparation programme
Married couples are also welcome to approach participating FAM@FSCs for marital counselling.
