ComLink+

ComLink+ aims to uplift lower-income families with children towards stability, self-reliance and social mobility (3S). These lower-income families face additional challenges and often have to stretch limited resources to meet various needs. Through ComLink+, we will support and partner families over the longer term as they work towards achieving their aspirations and goals. Find out more about ComLink+

Under ComLink+, families will be paired with dedicated family coaches and volunteer befrienders who will journey with them and encourage them as they progress towards their long-term goals. There are many intangible ways in which volunteers can help ComLink+ families, such as providing emotional support, and sharing their perspectives and experiences, which cannot be fully replicated in a formal programme. We encourage more individuals to come forward as volunteer befrienders to support our family coaches to support ComLink+ families.

Join us if you are passionate about partnering lower-income families to achieve their goals and do better for themselves and their children.

Volunteers help to:

  • Understand the needs, strengths, and aspirations of these families together with family coaches
  • Provide emotional support as families work to make progress and overcome their challenges
  • Identify additional sources of support for families.

Volunteer befrienders have to commit to working with ComLink+ families over a period of time, to journey with these families.
