Home-Based Behavioural Intervention Services (HBIS) is a pilot programme that supports persons with disabilities who have behavioural needs, and helps them live in the community for as long as possible. HBIS reinforces positive, socially acceptable behaviour among clients at home, and offers respite for their caregivers.


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for HBIS, a person with disability must

a) Be aged 16 years and above, and be either a Singapore Citizen, or a Singapore Permanent Resident with at least one immediate family member who is a Singapore Citizen and

b) Have a physical, sensory development. intellectual (IQ level of less than 70) condition, autism or other developmental conditions, or a combination of the list as certified by a medical practitioner.
