Significant advancements have been made since the White Paper on Singapore’s Development has been implemented, including more equal opportunities in the workplace, more support for caregivers, and improved healthcare support. Women's workforce participation continues to rise, with a growing presence in sectors like STEM. Efforts to shift societal mindsets and challenge gender norms, such as encouraging men to take a bigger share of caregiving responsibilities, are ongoing.

    

   

The journey towards gender equality is a collective endeavour, underpinned by respect and partnership between men and women in the family and the community. The government remains committed to collaborating with various sectors to promote women's development, so that both women and men have equal opportunities to pursue their aspirations.
