  • More Comprehensive, Convenient and Coordinated Support for Low-Income and Vulnerable Families
    To better support low-income and vulnerable families, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) will increase the assistance provided by ComCare schemes. MSF will also strengthen social service delivery in partnership with government agencies and community organisations, so as to provide more Comprehensive, Convenient and Coordinated support for these families.

  • Enhancing Support For At-Risk Children And Youth
    MSF will pilot two key initiatives to better support at-risk children and youths, (i) a Localised Community Network pilot and (ii) a lengthening of Post-Care Support for youths discharged from MSF Youth Homes. This is in line with the work of the National Committee on Prevention, Rehabilitation and Recidivism (NCPR) to develop and implement a coordinated and integrated approach to prevent offending and re-offending, and enhance the rehabilitation of offenders.

  • Better Support for Parents of Preschoolers and the Early Childhood Sector
    The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) announced initiatives to enhance support for parents of preschoolers and the early childhood sector.

  • Strengthening The Social Service Sector
    The social service sector can look forward to more sustained funding support for social service programmes, as well as more coordinated efforts to drive manpower development in the sector.
