1 The Department of Statistics (DOS) has provided the following estimates based on the Comprehensive Labour Force Surveys 2016 - 2019 and the Census of Population 2020.

2 The mean and median numbers of children in the bottom 20th percentile category of households with children, including those without working members, are 1.7 and 1 respectively for the last 5 years.

2 Based on ranking of resident households with at least 1 resident aged below 18 years and by monthly household income from work (including employer CPF contributions). This includes households without working members.
