Persons with disabilities are supported through subsidies to acquire, replace, upgrade or repair necessary assistive technology equipment and accessories (e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, etc.) that aid early intervention, education, training, employment, therapy, rehabilitation and/or independence in daily living. The subsidies are means-tested, providing up to 90% of the cost of equipment and subject to a lifetime cap of $40,000.

The Car Park Label Scheme provides persons with mobility impairment or their caregivers with access to accessible parking lots. These parking lots are designed wider to enable persons with mobility impairment who require to open the vehicle doors fully to board or alight from the vehicle. Eligible persons with mobility impairment may apply for a special vehicle label through SG Enable to park in these lots.

The Disabled Persons Scheme is a means-tested scheme that supports Singapore Citizens with permanent disabilities who are unable to use public transport (i.e. bus and/or MRT) and require a vehicle to earn a living.
